 Menhir Sa Pedra ‘e Taleri

The Sa Pedra ‘e Taleri menhir, standing over 4 meters tall, is a proto-anthropomorphic monolith dating between 3300 and 2500 BC. It impresses with its size and the profound sense of sacredness it conveys. Carefully carved from basalt stone, the menhir has an ogival shape and rises in solitude amidst the countryside, surrounded by fragments of pottery and obsidian flakes.
It was made from a single block of rock, most likely quarried from outcrops located about 300 meters west of the site.

It is also known as "the Stone of Giorgia Rajosa": according to legend, a woman named Giorgia Rajosa was turned into stone by Jesus for lying to a beggar—hence the name of the site.

A place steeped in spirituality and myth, waiting to be discovered.
