Nuraghe Tòlinu

The Tòlinu Nuraghe is one of the most impressive archaeological remains from the Nuragic age in the territory of Noragugume.

Located southeast of the village, the Tòlinu Nuraghe stands in a dramatic position overlooking the Ottana plain.
The structure includes a main tower, a bastion, and a small lateral tower, although it is partially buried.

It is a complex-type nuraghe, dating back to the Middle Bronze Age, and was once accompanied by a nearby settlement. Its structure reflects multiple construction phases over time, with constant adaptations and reuse of its parts.

With an area of over 600 square meters and the presence of various surrounding rooms, archaeologists have hypothesized the existence of a large settlement—either lost to time or still waiting to be excavated.
